OUR DESIGNER

As the creator behind NUR Design, a Turkish jewelry brand inspired by heritage and craftsmanship, my journey into the world of craftsmanship began at a young age, shaped by a deep passion for creating and crafting. From the earliest days of my childhood, I was drawn to the art of making from sewing clothes for my beloved dolls to crafting rings and bracelets during my elementary years. It was during this formative time that I first discovered the world of jewelry design.

I received an invaluable gift from my grandmother: the knowledge of crochet. This age-old skill was passed down through generations, and I embraced it with an open heart, laying the foundation for a lifelong passion for craftsmanship and creating beautiful things.

Creating with my own hands and being able to wear or use the things I made brought me immense fulfillment and satisfaction. Despite pursuing a degree in Finance and establishing a successful career in the hotel industry, my creative spirit continued to burn brightly as a cherished hobby.

In my adult years, this passion became my sanctuary during challenging times. I spent my weekends at a flea market stall in Toronto, Canada, sharing my handmade jewelry creations with others.

Twelve years later, I made a life-changing decision: to leave my established career behind and embrace what I truly love. Today, that passion lives through NUR Design, a Turkish jewelry brand where my lifelong creativity, heritage, and craftsmanship come together in timeless jewelry and accessories.
